happy new year Falken. Does the bark less part includes this blog ? In that case it'll be a sorry loss. Best to you and your family.

Happy New Year! For Resolution (1), I recommend reading "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. It showed me that modern nutritional science has a lot in common with modern portfolio theory. I lost nearly 40 pounds by starting a low carb diet after reading it.

Happy New Year, Eric.

I second Taubes' "Good Calories Bad Calories". It is to dietary science what "Finding Alpha" is to contemporary finance theory.
Seriously.
And get ready for lots of meat, fish, and green vegetables in 2011.

Losing weight is primarily about eating less, and that's not easy for most people. I started skipping lunch and lost 25 pounds quickly. The problem is, if I ever start eating lunch again the weight will come back. I've made it 11 months so far...

Your items 2 and 3 are great!
